September!

One Month later...... lol

Yup it's been a while. I just can't blog as I used to. But today shall be a recap. I'm home sick today so now I have extra time. I was coughing, sneezing and had a very high fever this morning. I don't even know where it came from. I could feel myself getting sick, but it came really fast. Anyway I ended up being in bed almost the whole day, which was a bummer.

Well time for more interesting stuff. School started off with a bang. Leadership has jumped up in pace and events. They do everything except the dances and charities. Spirit actually seems higher this year, I'm really excited. We have a new DJ company for the dances and they throw in a free lunch dance promo and custom packages. I'm excited, I want the dance to be great. We've tons of new idea too, but it's still early and the only thing really finalized is that it's on Dec 6 and a Winter Formal. Spirit Week was surprisingly successful. There was so much participation, I was pleasantly shocked. The Terry Fox Run was a little on the dull side, but we still raised money. Grade 8 Day was supposed to happen on the 20th but it rained and it was moved. We were all ready to have it in the gym, but Inrig said it doesn't look like it'll rain and we had it outside. Of course it poured and we had to put 500 smelly, wet, grass/ pudding covered grade 8's in the gym. PE teachers were shocked, and Inrig looked like he was going to cry. I thought it was still successful, not the best grade 8 day, but definitely one to remember.

My classes are pretty awful tough. Biology is hard, not taking Bio 11 first was a bit of a mistake on my part. But I'm managing, not much I can do about it otherwise. Mr. Kinear I officially hate though, he gave us this really long test (which I knew everything on) but it was only long because about 10 questions kept being repeated. And because of that I wasn't able to finish my written section because I had to leave to catch my bus to work. He was trying to be difficult on purpose, and I'm so not forgetting this. Law is totally slack, I also hate it. I have Mr. Wildeman and all we do is textbook work and it's not even thinking questions, just copying questions. I took Law because I wanted an intellectual class where politics and government were discussed, but all we discuss is drugs and alcohol. BORE. Plus the class is really rowdy and every one's so loud that I can never get any work done. It's his first year teaching Law and I'm afraid I've been a bit hard on him because I had such high expectations. I've been really lippy to all of my teachers and it's very unlike me. Now that I think of it, more to Mr. Wildeman than others. Damn, I'm so mean! I'll start being nicer, especially since he's trying his best and he's a nice person in general. English is pretty OK, I'm getting behind because I'm not giving English my priority, which is sad because I love Mr. Boomhower's class. He's an amazing teacher and the class is really good too. Very understanding teacher, more teachers should be like him. Band is OK, I'm section leader for clarinets and trombones and I'm way to lazy to always get up and hand music. I'm actually better on the trombone than I am on the clarinet now, it's shocking. I've been improving on the trombone so much and just staying the same on the clarinet which makes me sad. I'll try harder in concert band from now on. Some of the grade 11's are annoying especially some of the saxophone players but I enjoy sitting in between Danielle and Lena, they're very friendly.

Grade 12 seems to be the year for hook ups. Everyone seems to be pairing up. Lisa and Patrick have rekindled and I'm very happy for them. Nikki and Isaac have started a relationship as well, and no one really knows what to say about them. Tons of others too, but no one I'd mention. But it seems every one's relationships are secret one's. All races seem to be hiding their newly found bf/gf from theirs parents. New trend maybe?? I'm on the hunt for a grad date, who most importantly will look good in the pictures and get a long with everyone. I've found one that'll be perfect, but I'm not attracted to him at all, so it looks like I'm still looking. SC meetings are mostly run by Suzanna and myself, and they go pretty well I guess. Kevin's fun to work with on VP stuff. We get a long better than previous VP's in the past, so I'm happy with that.

Work is getting busy, plus I'm getting tires of little children. There are some who love me and who's parents also adore me. There are others who honestly are spawns of the devil and there parents are so awful that they should've never been given kids in the first place. Shavaun's left the portrait studio and I'm the only one it seems who'll miss her. Michelle is my new favorite, she's really nice and helpful. Monique is also pretty fun. We are all becoming annoyed at Brandi (the manager) who not only is on sick leave for like a month, but is really disorganized in general.

Oh in other news the school's play is a musical called All Shook Up. It's a 1950's rock and roll Elvis play. I tried out and I'm the Mayor, Matilda. Pretty exciting especially since apparently I can sing which I didn't think I could do. But all the lead roles are double casted except the lead male and female role. So I share my part with Nikki P. in grade 11, and she's interesting.... yeah, that's all I'll say. So we alternate playing the part on performance week and the one who's not Matilda that night had a part in the Ensemble. I think it'll just get annoying after a while, but I'm not the director or anything. Lisa's stage manager again though, so woot, I get a little bit more say than the others, lol.

Well that seems like a sufficient recap, there was some other drama that I felt no need to talk about because it would just give me a headache. I did though get tickets to the Michael Buble concert on January 12th which I am so excited for. And Ms. Spencer has gotten me into John Mayer who she plans to marry. I think they'll be a great pair, beats Jessica Simpson anyway. Well I gotta go do homework, I'll maybe write sooner than a month!

Jobs/ TV

I'm listening to Bet on it from HSM2. I love it. But I only liked that song and Gotta Go My Own Way. Maybe the others will grow on me, who knows? So I watched HSM2 with Lisa and it was OK. I think the first one was better, I still hated Zac at the end of the movie for being such a jerk. Loved Ryan though, him and Gabrielle should have an affair. I thought the ending was rushed, Zac's a jerk and then all of a sudden he blows Sharpay off once and everyone forgives him, wtf? He should have had to win everyone back. Oh well. Hated Sharpay though, god what's wrong with her voice?? Piano girl was such a creeper, she was still cool, but it was freaky how she kept popping up EVERYWHERE. I would laughed if she had popped out after Zac's 'Bet on it' lol! On ET I saw they're making a HSM3... they're so milking this for all it's worth, but will I'd still watch it, I'm still routing for Ryan/ Gabrielle couple.

Anyway work at the travel agency has gotten unbearable. They tried to send me home for going to the bathroom and constantly make up shit and embarrass the hell out of in front of everyone. Just because they don't want me to quit and they think they can get away with it because I'm young. Such a big mistake, overestimate never underestimate. I have to call Employment Standards tomorrow which sucks because it's so much drama/effort. They're asking for it though and they messed with the wrong person, I don't let things slide easily. If I ever become PM or even just a lawyer I'm going to ruin Bobby and Natasha for good. Sears on the other hand is pretty good, I love Shavaun now she's my favorite. She's big on the environment and we ranted together about people who don't vote yesterday. Brandi on the other hand has been a bit cranky and a little depressing, but she hurt her foot and Shavaun and her aren't getting along so that can't be fun. I'm hoping it's only temporary. But otherwise I'm getting good at taking pictures and I up sale the buyer all the time. Today was a bad day though, bratty kids and parents. It was so exhausting I took a nap as soon as i got home.

I started reading Everything's Eventual by Stephen King and it's an amazing collection of short stories. Including 1408 (which equals 13 added up BTW, when I realized it I flipped out) and Autopsy Room 4 which are my favorites so far. I recommend it to someone who doesn't mind the darker stories.

Never try Aussie Shampoo or Conditioner, it's horrible. Your hair will smell good but other than that EW. I can't wait till the bottle is done. I've been driving like crazy, I love driving and I'm a little nervous about my test. It's on September 6th so it's approaching fast. I have 5 more lessons with Marnie (my instructor) and she was so much fun, I'll miss her. I want to give her and Chad a nice goodbye/thank you gift. I'm looking for clues on what she likes next lesson. Other than that I miss Melissa who's camping and I needed her advice on something but I have to wait till the 30th. Not much I can do. Lisa and I went to the library and it was fun, she owns the Fleetwood library she know it like the back of her hand.

I'm dead tired though and I gotta work tomorrow morning, I'm hoping it's an easy day. I don't want to do much. Oh and Sabra won SYTYCD. YAY!! She was my favorite, I loved her. Oh and I cannot tell who I find more attractive Danny or Neil. Neil has better hair and I swear he stops in mid air when he does his jumps, but Danny is a better dancer and his smile is really nice. I tried to pick for so long but I gave up because it was too hard to pick. Well I'll probably blog next on my last day at the travel agency which is the 28th and hopefully it's a happy blog. Sweet Dreams!!!

Mostly Good, A Little Bad

God I'm such an inconsistent blogger!! Oh well, what are you gonna do. Anyway how is the world of summer??? Mine is OK, and it was better yesterday. Let me explain.

Well I got the Sears Job and I LOVE IT. I'm an all around person so I take pictures, cut film, do the sales orders and deliveries. I love my boss Brandi she is a such a sweetie. One of the other girls I work with is Shavaun and at first I wasn't a big fan because she's blond and sounds like it too, but once I got to know her I find out she's a Potter fan AND loves politics. She was so excited she could talk politics with me and I'd know what she was talking about. We talked about the political parties and Quebec for a good 20 minutes. So cool. Plus Brandi think I'm super mature and it looks like I'll be there a while. YAY! Now for the bad news.

My job at the stupid travel agency UG. Well I made friends because I'm friendly and I'm really good friends with Tara, Michelle and Don and on good terms with everyone else. My boss though I have always been polite too and nice and smiley and the other girl Natasha who is also a supervisor and his wife I've been the same. But they are so retarded. Natasha is trying to put us against each other and setting a crap load of double standards which is bullshit. And Bobby was looking like the better person until tonight. Well I decided to quit and I gave my two weeks notice today and he was SO rude! I gave it to him and he didn't even look at it and literally threw it aside and started badgering me about how he thought I'd work until after September. I told him circumstances are different (I wish I could say I hate this job and you and you're bitchy wife) and that I valued the time I spent here and was super nice. But he tries to pull out the "It's cost me money to keep you" and started pulling junk from his ass until I pointed out that I have covered me seat every week except for my first week where I made up for the next week. I mean that REALLY got to me because I am in the top 3 people for performance out of 15 and I have gained the company more money than the people who have been here much longer combined, plus he trained me for 2 hours only so it's not that big of a deal to train someone else. He didn't have anything to say about that because he can't argue truth. I hate him. Plus he kept pressing and I told him between taking care of my little sisters and school I would be able to work the 4 days a week that he wanted. He was really unprofessional and acted like a big baby and the next two weeks can't go by fast enough. I will remember this when I'm PM and he will PAY.

Anyway Zafar's birthday was on the 8th and I got him the video game and a promise of a movie of his choice before summer ends. I've been talking to Nikki a lot lately and she gave me my birthday present which I loved (a jewelry box with my name engraved on it) and we watched this movie called Unhitched. SO FUNNY! Plus by the end of it we were both hoping to come across a British writer with good facial features because we were so in love with the main character. OH! I finally got a cellphone which is like my baby. I only use my cellphone now no more home phone. It looks pretty cool too. As a whole I've loved most of summer and I'm a little ready for school. It'll be nice to be rid of my travel agency job and GETTING MY 'N'! Which is on September 6th, I've been driving around like crazy and I rule! Parking needs work but I still have time and I'm sure I'll have it down pact by September! I've got to get to bed though because I'm working tomorrow morning early and I'll try to blog more often!! Enjoy the last few weeks of summer!!!!!

P.S. Knock on wood grade 12 won't be too hard, it's approaching a little too fast for my liking!

P.P.S. I can't believe I forgot to mention it but I'm a PRO at the transit system now, it took a couple days but now I can get anywhere using the bus and how to get to where I want even if I've missed a stop. I'm so proud. I love transit!!

Work and Shame

I got the second job!! THANK GOD! I started to like my job because I was getting good at it (the one at the travel agency)but then I find out my boss is an asshole and it sucks again. Only a couple more weeks!! My first day at Sears is tomorrow and I'm excited, I hope it'll go well and that the other person they hired is an attractive guy (maybe with an accent) who signed up for the job because he loved kids. But I have a terrible confession, it's embarrassing and I'll deny it if mentioned to me and delete the proof... but anyway...

I can't use transit, I'm disabled at public transit. I need to take transit to Willowbrook and I'm so bad at it. I missed by bus twice and my stop twice. But I kinda know my route now so I'm hoping it'll go well tomorrow but just in case I'm leaving 2 hours early. On the way back I don't have the option of having extra time because I have to be at the travel agency by 3pm and I get off work at 1:30. PRAY FOR ME. I can't believe a future PM can't even take the bus. I am shamed.

On other news I don't get a paycheck for another week which sucks because I was expecting it today. But people on the phone have gotten nicer. And yes Shannon the trips are real. All the person has to do is pick it up and watch a 15 minute video about the vacation packages offered and you only need ID to pick up the vacation. Plus if the place where you pick it up used to belong to TrendWest (who we recently bought out) you get complimentary Mariners tickets. And if the showroom is at one of our resorts you get a tour and first class treatment. All together it's about an hour before you get the vacation and then there's one year to use them. I still hate working there though.

I think everyone in my family is going to California except for me and my dad so that'll be kinda lonely since, I don't get home till 9 and on the days I have off he's working. On the plus I get the house to myself which is AWESOME. I don't have much else to say except I'm butt tired and I'll try and blog tomorrow about Sears. CYA!!!

P.S. The Willowbrook mall is the coolest mall ever. I went shopping today and so many deals!!! They even have a Toys R Us which is good for Inayah and Neha. Oh and if anyone knows where I can get Spider-man 1 the video game for PS2 I'd love to know because Zafar really wants it for his Birthday on the 8th.

17th Birthday!!!

It my birthday! Woot! I worked today and although I hated it yesterday, now that I'm getting better at it, I don't think it's that bad. I'm working at a travel agency on the phone all day. I'm kinda like a tele marketer except I don't sell anything I just tell people that if their names been drawn then they win a free $800 vacation as long as they qualify. It's hard because people think your selling something and they hang up immediately, or they don't speak English. But tomorrow I have an interview at Sears and hopefully I'll get that one. Knock on wood!!

So I contained myself and read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in 2 DAYS and not 6.5 hours like I did with the Half-Blood Prince. Now I'll give you a SPOLIER WARNING!!! So if you haven't read it yet just SCROLL DOWN! Well I cried when Dobby died and I got teary eyed when Hedwig died and I was close to happy tears when Dudley told Harry he was not a waste of space. I loved the book so much, I can't believe it's over though, I hope they don't ruin the 7th movie because it has a lot of potential. I stopped reading when Harry "died" and I cried A LOT, especially while he was walking to the forest, I couldn't believe he was a horcrux. And then I went down for dinner and could barely eat because I was sure he died. But then he came back and it ended brilliantly. I wish in the epilogue JKR mentioned where the Dursley's were or what jobs everyone was doing or who was the new Headmaster. Oh well though, amazing way to end a series. Loved how it broke all the book records of all time.

OK now no more spoilers! Well I haven't blogged in a while so I'll make a quick recap. My finals went well, all of them and I made the 1st class honour roll even with a C in Physics. I'm shooting for the Law award next year and I also got elected VP with Kevin B. so I'm excited about that. I voted for Kevin and I'm glad my vote wasn't wasted. If I ever become PM in the future and I actually do get 3 free kills one of them will be for the other female running against me. I think that says it all. Many people said Happy Birthday on Facebook and I appreciate the thought. Melissa, Lisa and I have gotten closer if that's possible and I hate to say it but I'm already thinking about grad. I feel dizguzting!!!! I've even though about what dress I want and have decided I won't be going in a hummer limo or a party bus. I'll try the best I can not to get grad crazy, but it's not looking good so far. Damn! Oh well I'll blog tomorrow and tell you how the interview goes and my 3rd official day at work. Have fun till then!!! =D

P.S. I CAN'T WAIT TILL THE SIMPSONS MOVIE!!! I'll probably end up watching it on Friday or Saturday! So many good movies not enough time!! =P

Happy Arbor Day

Howdy! How has every one's week been? Mine has been full of not attending classes for SC and Leadership reasons. I missed Physics twice and that's going to bite me in the ass on Monday. Oh well. And I will not talk about the canucks except for saying, it was fun and I'll never be able to hate them, but yes I did cry and sob. Other than that I'm still contemplating to take Jazz band or not and I'm not even close to an answer.

Moving on, it is a special time for SC; elections. It is a time where ones reminisce about the past year and the last elections. I personally wish I had dome more with Spirit Committee but since I was doing the play and Ada had Grad council it was the best we could do. But it was still awesome none the less. Free ice cream should refresh your memory if needed. Anyway lately I've been ranted to and asked a lot about whether someone should run or not for a position. And SC drama is at it's climax. To put my cards on the table I am voting Patrick for Prez and I'm running for Vice but I never vote for myself because that almost feels like cheating so I'll probably vote for Kevin B. for Vice. I'm voting for Patrick because SC needs more guys and it should be interesting. If he wasn't running it would be a difficult decision, but between Kiran, Whitney and Suzanna I think it would be Whitney because she didn't get Vice last year and she's responsible enough and all that jazz plus she's laid back. But really it's a hard decision and I'm glad Patrick's running so I won't have to make it. To be honest I have grown quite fond of the current SC. More the seniors because I don't know any of the younger ones except Andy and Sheri (who will make good whatever they pick in the future). I will miss the ones graduating. Closer to elections I will post a proper goodbye.

Friends and I have been talking about the future a lot and I hope things work out like we hope. Oh and I hate the new Brookside playground, it's lame. Only flashy gimmicks. The famine is also coming up and I'm excited, it should be fun, I like a lot of the group going. Pirates III is coming out and I'll see it out on opening day just for traditions sake.

Today is Arbor Day and I hope that you did something green. I went to volunteer at the Arbor Day festival at the Cloverdale Athletic Park. I had fun, tasted a lot of organic food and made some friends. I loved the little kids and they loved me. I was the mascot for a bit which was a giant tree and the costume was way better than the Cougar, but I was a little small for it. It was there that I couldn't keep my eyes off a young man named Wes who wore a cowboy hat. He was incredibly good looking, it took all my energy to refrain myself from being flirty (I was here for the environment after all) and it's not my fault if he was flirting with me first. Anyway that's all I'll say about that.

So I was reading some old posts and was thoroughly disgusted. I was so angsty. Ug. That's why I got rid of all the 2006 posts. I was rolling my eyes through it all. Some were okay, but others were crap. I'm disgusted to the max, such a typical teenager. So other than that I read a good book called "This Lullaby" and there's a character in it named Paul and it's as if he was Andrew T. I had to re read it to make sure I wasn't just crazy.

Well that bout' it. Grade 12's enjoy your last month and a half and if you're going to pull a prank, stink bombs and not only fucking annoying but so not cool. No one will remember it.

Lots of love,

Alia

Long Time No See

It's been almost two months since my last post!! Now that really is forever. Well I never wanted to recap spring break because if I did I'd have to make a detailed one and so I've avoided it and now it's too late and I barely remember anything. China will have a detailed recap though, so don't fret.

Well I figure now is a good time for a blog as any, because guess who won the election in Papineau?? Justin Trudeau!!!!! Yay!!! I'm so proud and happy for him, he seems like he really wants to be there. Plus he's only 35 which means I'll be working with him when I'm PM. Excellent. (Oh and not that it matters at all, but his hair is very shiny)

Anyway, school sucks so much. Like honestly I would give anything to just go travelling somewhere and forget about all about school. Lets start with Chem. I am hating Ms. Pillay! Talk about a bore and what the hell is up with her voice, before I let it pass but honestly was there some sort of helium accident when she was a child? That may seem a little harsh but she's a crazy (as in mentally unstable) teacher. She actually called my parents and told them "I'm not giving chemistry 100%", at the time I was getting fucking 92%. Ug, so annoying, I mean I have other classes. So basically I don't care because I don't even need the course and I'm acing the course without studying or anything. I'm not going to complain about Physics, because it's hard but Davis is my hero and I enjoy that class for the most part. I hate tests though, so hard!! I'm not taking it super seriously though because I don't even need Physics for law. French I also won't say too much about because Mr. Lafleur makes me laugh and he tries so hard to make french fun I also can't complain.
Band is another thing. WTF! If I hadn't paid my China deposit I would've honestly taken band off my schedule today. I can't believe how mean the band class is being. OK, this is Mr. Henderson's last chance for Music Fest ever and we're really gold material but people are fucking complaining about missing only 2 blocks of school. I mean if you think about it Mr. Henderson puts up with a hell of a lot more than he should and even if you don't want to go for the sake of not going, at least do it as a favor. I understand that some people have hard courses and missing even one day is a hassle, but you'd do it for any other class. The Playland field trip for Physics is a full day and you don't learn anything, but people jumped at the idea. I'm missing so much Physics this month that I think I'll die, but Band is just like any other class. I mean have people honestly spent 4 years joining band just for the trips and an easy A?? A's are easier to get in other classes. Music Fest is like a mandatory field trip, would anyone say plain out no to your other teachers?? Honestly, I felt so bad for Mr. Henderson having to go out of his way only to know his band doesn't even want to go. Whatever, I don't even really want to go anymore, I like playing my instrument but now it's not as if I'm even part of a band. If I were Mr. Henderson I'd take this as a sign to make playing tests and stop giving out the A's if undeserved. Next year band is going to suck. Sorry to rant, but I was in a great mood until band class because honestly if I was a teacher I wouldn't put with all the whiny asses and I was actually excited about Music Fest until now.

Sigh, well other than that, there's lots to rant about but I'm ranted out and the other rants would make people angry. Maybe if I'm still pissed after dinner I'll continue. I wish I could end this blog happier but I don't think I can. Oh well elections are coming up, so you should vote Alia for Vice Prezzz! I don't think many people are running, but I'm sure there'll be more than to people running so go out and vote cause I look better that the competition! =P

CYA GATORS! (I guess that's pretty happy)

Nothing Sinister

Hola Chicas! I am not buried in homework. Yup that's sexy. My cough is not though. It's a flemmy cough and so nasty.

I should mention I am turning into a germaphobe. I never thought I'd see the day. I spent Saturday cleaning and all week I've been telling Zafar to cover his fucking mouth when he coughs. HE DOESN'T! It's like I can SEE the germs. I feel like Howard Hughes, I hope it passes.
So yeah I was sick but I slept a lot on Friday and I am recovering fast, rejoice.

France/Spain is coming fast and I have everything ready except I still need a converter for the plugs and socks. I lose socks like crazy. I'm taking out money from my own personal money in the bank for spending money because you can't go to Paris and NOT shop. I want hot shoes. OH!! And apparently smiling is considered very intimate in France, so according to Mr. Lafleur "ladies careful who you're smiling at, otherwise you might get some unwanted attention". LOL. That is FIERCE! Spain better have hot struggling guitarists playing on sidewalks. God I wish I knew Spanish.

I must let you on my new favorite show. THE HOUR. With of course George Stroumboulopoulos (what a challenge in kindergarten!). So HIP! CBC is not really that cool, but The Hour has politics to celebrities to crazy facts. Monday is Disinformation Night and creepy!! Did you know Hitler's brother has 4 kids living in New York RIGHT NOW. So odd. Plus Barbie was based on a German sex doll and America and the Soviet seriously considered blowing up the moon in the Cold War. So much trivia! I love it. I love George. I LOVE politics. One day I'll be on The Hour as the PM's opposition.

SO CONTROVERSIAL!!

But still so mysterious

Anyway he's in Toronto and I wanted to go be part of the live audience because we have a 6 hour lay over. It's free and it would be so cool, but we arrive in Toronto too late for it to work. I am CRUSHED.

On another note, SC is now back on since the play is over. I spent Thursday with SC and it was more fun than you would've expected. SC kids rock too. A lot of laughs. But I find out Tabrez actually met and shook hands with practically ROYALTY. Justin Trudeau!! He has Trudeau blood! Plus apparently Tabrez vouched that he was very bright. So that means he's smart and hot. Not super sexy or anything but definitely better than any other politician in Canada. I hope he makes it and wins his election in Papineau.

Branché, n'est pas?

So much like his father!

*tear* *tear

Such a famous photo, such an emotional moment! Good luck Justin, I'd vote for you!

Well other than that my week was pretty average. Mr. Henderson is telling me I have to join Jazz Band and give up my only spare, but NO WAY. On Friday we had jazz history which was boring and I was so not in the mood because I was not feeling well. I ended up leaving most of the class and helping Shannon with the PR board. It's pretty sexy. The broken hearts are so anti-love. Lol! Anyway other than that I need a 5th provincial for next year and I have no idea what to take. I was going to have Physics 12 but then Mr. Davis isn't going to be here and I don't need it or anything, so I need to take something else. I already have French 12, English 12, English Lit, Math 12 and I'm taking Law 12 but it doesn't have a provincial. I don't really want to do Chem 12, but I might have to. It's just soooo boring.

Fashion show was pretty hot. Renu and Haniff were good MC's. They even threw in a MSND joke, I made sure to cheer. Everyone is either getting sick or getting over it and I hope everyone will be well before France/Spain. Otherwise I'll be paranoid being stuck with sick people in a non ventilated airplane. I'm off to study chemistry and then watch Desperate Housewives.

BYE!

Overview

I have just had THE best day! It wasn't all that special but so much better than i thought, plus i cried from laughter ALL day. First I should talk about A Mid Summer Night's Dream because my last post was negative and it needs an update.

OMG AWESOME!!! Monday was the worst, but still not that bad. Tuesday kicked ass and that's when everyone got confidence for the rest of the week. By Wednesday Kevin and I added new actions that got a couple chuckles and added character. Thursday was the best show, everyone was the best they've been. Ajay stole the show and honestly he is my HERO. The part of Thisbe can easily be screwed up, but my god he was hilarious. I think Neilson was a little jealous. Friday could've been better but everyone was a tad sad that it was ending. Plus random people were mad at Hari and some people exploded on the stage crew, plus I find out I'm some sort of "other woman" and that kinda killed my mood for the beginning. I was a tad crabby for the first part but i got over it. Overall AMAZING! I got to know people so much better. Like I had no idea who Renu was before this and she is such a doll. Plus I kinda thought Ajay was just annoying and he turned out my hero for the play, I wasn't ever upset Kevin played Theseus but at first I wasn't excited either, but that also worked wonderfully and I couldn't have picked a better Duke. Everyone just fell into their parts. Oh and like Jen from stage crew is a sweetheart too. If you didn't get a chance to watch it, then you missed an awesome show. Tomorrow is Strike the Set and the last time we're all together. *tear* It should be fun though.

Anyway I wrote another blog over the weekend and it got deleted, but I'm glad because it was depressing. My weekend was just depressing because I was super moody and anti-social. I talked to Andrew a lot though and he cheered me up (after saying I told you so) and eventually he told me to just go relax and have a bath. I did, and it actually helped. Then I came to school and band was hilarious. Mr. Henderson was in a good mood and Lisa and I laughed most of the time. Then in French we played a fun game and the weather was being CRAZY. Global warming in effect. Lunch was fun too, a lot of laughs. Physics was also a blast, Mr. Davis is one of my favorite teachers of all time. I might just take Physics 12 because of how fun he makes it. Then I see that the loser who ruined my mood on Friday got a haircut and he's practically bald! Okay, now I'm not incredibly shallow about looks because I'm more conceited. But there's one exception; hair. Maybe it has something to do with my astrological sign (because apparently Leo's have an obsession with hair) but bad haircuts are hard to get over for me. And usually I befriend people faster if they have at least a decent haircut. And man I almost laughed out loud when I saw his. KARMA! Ha! That was the icing on my cake and the day seems to continue being amazing.

I do have to say I'm a little iffy about France/Spain though. The teachers obviously don't know what the hell their doing and are prepared for every 'what if...' possible. Tape on the doors? Please. I kinda want to open my door and break the tape just to see what'll happen. Lol! Anyway I think Mr. Henderson was right about EF though, you only get to see wherever you're going from a tourist point of view and don't really get what you're paying for. China is only $2000 and that's farther and the hotels are better. Whatever though, it'll still be a blast because Europe is pretty cool and they're all foreigners and I love my foreigners. 17 days and counting.

So the Oscars were on last night. Ellen was hosting and I love her. Canada came up pretty fry except an animation Oscar for shorts. I wanted Water to win and Ryan Gosling to win. I still have to see Water though, but I haven't been in the mood for subtitles, it's one of the reasons I haven't watched Pan's Labyrinth yet. Nicole Kidman's dress was awesome except it had a bow and J Lo was pretty hot. Tom Cruise was short as ever but still good looking. Leonardo DiCaprio is my new 2nd favorite actor and I loved him at the Oscars. On Saturday I watched the Aviator and it was hot. Howard Hughes is such a complex character and honestly Ava Gardner got around. Leo rocks my socks, and I really wish a Johnny Depp movie would come out that's not Pirates (not that I'm not excited for the third one) because I can't love his individuality and controversial-ity anymore. Plus because the Libertine isn't forgotten and that was one of the worst movies of ALL time. Come back Johnny!

Other than that all is peachy and good. I 'm getting a haircut on the 10th of March and I'm open to suggestions. And for your enjoyment here is another school's version of the last scenes in A Mid Summer Night's Dream which had it's moments. (Ours was WAY better though)

Day 1

Well I wasn't supposed to blog because it's late but then I read Alex's blog and it reminded me of the itinerary. OMG!! Even better than I could've hoped. We get to go to France and Spain and on top of that Toronto, Montreal and Germany! How awesome is that?? Apparently Lufthansa (The German air flight we're taking) has very little leg room according to my German friend Lisa. Apparently in German airports and everywhere else in Germany there are sex shops everywhere. LOL! But I secretly want to meet a separatist in Montreal and debate with them. I'm such a nerd, shut up.

Physics and Chem are turning hard. It's not fun, I think it's because I'm exhausted but that doesn't make it easier. Thank god for Mr. Lafleur and him being reasonable. I've avoided it long enough, time for the play.

Special Preview night was today, DAY 1. I WAS SHAKING!! I'm good at public speaking and stuff but this was my first ever play since the Nutcracker in grade 2 and I was nervous as hell. Well my costume fell apart for the beginning and I could only think of that. Then I stuttered and coughed. Kevin also missed some stuff but he covered up brilliantly. I give him props, he's a fantastic actor. I also missed one line, but other than that it was AWESOME. Literally the crowd was peeing itself. Everyone was laughing and it was hilarious. I loved it. And I'm glad the first night is over because now I know what it feels like to have a crowd in front of me. Tomorrow and on should be even more amazing. GO SEE IT SOON!!!

Well I should get to bed because I'm exhausted and Leadership tomorrow morning. Plus I have to get all the stage makeup off.

Comeback!

I AM BACK!!! Rejoice. I made a recap of 2006 blog but that one I accidentally deleted before publishing and didn't feel like re- typing it. And then I wrote another one but didn't finish it and my mood changed before I had a chance to go back and post it. Bad habits and bad moods left my blogs in the past, but now Breviloquence is in for a comeback. Not just any comeback either, one with more juicy details about moi, and in depth topics randomly. This is more of a recap though, so bare with me.

I'll just start from scratch. I can't do a real recap because my memory's not that great on weekends. On the other blogs I wrote about a good phone convo with Melissa and stuff about being fed up with her but that's now such old news. She and I are quite close right now so that's all good. Plus she's the only one who knows my deepest DARKEST secret. I'm not exaggerating and I'm also not telling because then I'd be so boring.

Also talked about hating Ms. Puharich or however you spell it. She was being power trippy over the 80 hours of PE and I decided I'd keep my done hours in my portfolio binder because she can't do anything to me anyway. It worked out and the portfolio practically got cancelled and only involve one aspect, 80 PE hours and 30 work experience. I almost cried. I'm not kidding. It's not that hard to believe anyway because I'm a crybaby. A big cry baby. Disney movies make me cry. And I cry almost every time I laugh, if I don't then I'm not really into the laugh.

Final/Provincials. Well last semester I had a math final, Socials provincial and English final. I was only really worried about Math because Ms. Church assured us we'd all ace the English exam and on a practise Socials provincial I finished it in less than an hour and got 88% without studying. Math therefore is so much harder and I needed to do well. Well good news all around.
I ended up with an A for English, Socials provincial was pretty easy and in Math I got 79.7% on the final which rocks!! So I am definitely at a B and that I've used up my B for the year. I'm just so happy all worked out well. God I'm so happy I don't have to study anymore.

Dance has been kinda meh with Ms. Jessica, but we had a sub a while back and she was so cool. She taught us a way cool routine and how to break dance. SO AWESOME! I wish she was our teacher instead of Jessica. Oh well. But we do have a new person who's our only guy. And I think he joined because he liked one of the girls. He's not that great and his name is DEXTER. By the way he looks like he plays football and talks like it too. So I've never met anyone who looked less like a Dexter.

2nd semester, better than the first. I have Mr. Davis for Physics, Mrs. Pillay for Chemistry and Mr. Lafleur for French. Band too, but that never changes. It's not an easy semester but good teachers make it better. Mr. Davis kicks ass. He's so into Physics it's awesome, plus he wants to get to know everyone too. Pillay still loves me from grade 9 science and she still gives out bonus marks for everything. Now I know her voice is annoying and takes time to get used to, but she's better than Mulji.

Seriously OMG!! France/ Spain 2007 is in LESS THAN A MONTH. FLIP OUT!! It's coming up so fast! I was not expecting it so soon. I have to start making a list of things to bring so I have enough time to add on and not forget anything because I'm so afraid to. It's obviously going to be a blast and I'm hoping Devon calms the hell down in another continent. Packing is so much fun. I will post my what to bring list as soon as I get it started. My group is almost done our project too and Toulouse is a pretty neat French town. I still would've like the Arc de Triomphe better but Kevin and Alex should have fun with that. Speaking of Kevin reminds me why I'm in KNOTS.

THE PLAY!! A Midsummer Night's Dream is looking really good. Costumes seem great and so does the set. Every one's really good in their parts too. But I am nervous as hell. Now, I know I don't have that big of a part and really most of the time I just stand ans look pretty while Kevin has most of the lines as Theseus, but so nervous!!! I'm the second person to talk and I feel like I'll stutter or trip or start laughing. That said, I'll try hard not to and you should all come see the play. Neilson makes a good Bottom and Ajay in a blonde wig is amazing. Oh and Haniff's costume is crazy cool too. I got to know a lot more people in the play too and I don't really dislike anyone. I got to know tons of people either better or from scratch. A good experience as a whole and not one I'd trade. But since I've had rehearsals like everyday until 6:00ish I haven't had a lot of time for homework and it's piled up. Only one week left. Oh and I'm taking suggestions on what in the world to do with my hair. Something royal and Amazonian at the same time and something that won't take a long time.

So that's a pretty basic overview. Valentine's Day was a tad disappointing and I think I have a Jasper. Oh well. Anyway things are kinda stressful and I really want a long bubble bath, candles and all. Or a do nothing day. There's a lot going on, and different things in everyone else's life so things seem super busy. I can't wait till Spring Break. Well I actually finished this and it shall be posted. Kinda boring but a recap was needed since I haven't blogged since last year. CYA!
