Overview

I have just had THE best day! It wasn't all that special but so much better than i thought, plus i cried from laughter ALL day. First I should talk about A Mid Summer Night's Dream because my last post was negative and it needs an update.

OMG AWESOME!!! Monday was the worst, but still not that bad. Tuesday kicked ass and that's when everyone got confidence for the rest of the week. By Wednesday Kevin and I added new actions that got a couple chuckles and added character. Thursday was the best show, everyone was the best they've been. Ajay stole the show and honestly he is my HERO. The part of Thisbe can easily be screwed up, but my god he was hilarious. I think Neilson was a little jealous. Friday could've been better but everyone was a tad sad that it was ending. Plus random people were mad at Hari and some people exploded on the stage crew, plus I find out I'm some sort of "other woman" and that kinda killed my mood for the beginning. I was a tad crabby for the first part but i got over it. Overall AMAZING! I got to know people so much better. Like I had no idea who Renu was before this and she is such a doll. Plus I kinda thought Ajay was just annoying and he turned out my hero for the play, I wasn't ever upset Kevin played Theseus but at first I wasn't excited either, but that also worked wonderfully and I couldn't have picked a better Duke. Everyone just fell into their parts. Oh and like Jen from stage crew is a sweetheart too. If you didn't get a chance to watch it, then you missed an awesome show. Tomorrow is Strike the Set and the last time we're all together. *tear* It should be fun though.

Anyway I wrote another blog over the weekend and it got deleted, but I'm glad because it was depressing. My weekend was just depressing because I was super moody and anti-social. I talked to Andrew a lot though and he cheered me up (after saying I told you so) and eventually he told me to just go relax and have a bath. I did, and it actually helped. Then I came to school and band was hilarious. Mr. Henderson was in a good mood and Lisa and I laughed most of the time. Then in French we played a fun game and the weather was being CRAZY. Global warming in effect. Lunch was fun too, a lot of laughs. Physics was also a blast, Mr. Davis is one of my favorite teachers of all time. I might just take Physics 12 because of how fun he makes it. Then I see that the loser who ruined my mood on Friday got a haircut and he's practically bald! Okay, now I'm not incredibly shallow about looks because I'm more conceited. But there's one exception; hair. Maybe it has something to do with my astrological sign (because apparently Leo's have an obsession with hair) but bad haircuts are hard to get over for me. And usually I befriend people faster if they have at least a decent haircut. And man I almost laughed out loud when I saw his. KARMA! Ha! That was the icing on my cake and the day seems to continue being amazing.

I do have to say I'm a little iffy about France/Spain though. The teachers obviously don't know what the hell their doing and are prepared for every 'what if...' possible. Tape on the doors? Please. I kinda want to open my door and break the tape just to see what'll happen. Lol! Anyway I think Mr. Henderson was right about EF though, you only get to see wherever you're going from a tourist point of view and don't really get what you're paying for. China is only $2000 and that's farther and the hotels are better. Whatever though, it'll still be a blast because Europe is pretty cool and they're all foreigners and I love my foreigners. 17 days and counting.

So the Oscars were on last night. Ellen was hosting and I love her. Canada came up pretty fry except an animation Oscar for shorts. I wanted Water to win and Ryan Gosling to win. I still have to see Water though, but I haven't been in the mood for subtitles, it's one of the reasons I haven't watched Pan's Labyrinth yet. Nicole Kidman's dress was awesome except it had a bow and J Lo was pretty hot. Tom Cruise was short as ever but still good looking. Leonardo DiCaprio is my new 2nd favorite actor and I loved him at the Oscars. On Saturday I watched the Aviator and it was hot. Howard Hughes is such a complex character and honestly Ava Gardner got around. Leo rocks my socks, and I really wish a Johnny Depp movie would come out that's not Pirates (not that I'm not excited for the third one) because I can't love his individuality and controversial-ity anymore. Plus because the Libertine isn't forgotten and that was one of the worst movies of ALL time. Come back Johnny!

Other than that all is peachy and good. I 'm getting a haircut on the 10th of March and I'm open to suggestions. And for your enjoyment here is another school's version of the last scenes in A Mid Summer Night's Dream which had it's moments. (Ours was WAY better though)

Day 1

Well I wasn't supposed to blog because it's late but then I read Alex's blog and it reminded me of the itinerary. OMG!! Even better than I could've hoped. We get to go to France and Spain and on top of that Toronto, Montreal and Germany! How awesome is that?? Apparently Lufthansa (The German air flight we're taking) has very little leg room according to my German friend Lisa. Apparently in German airports and everywhere else in Germany there are sex shops everywhere. LOL! But I secretly want to meet a separatist in Montreal and debate with them. I'm such a nerd, shut up.

Physics and Chem are turning hard. It's not fun, I think it's because I'm exhausted but that doesn't make it easier. Thank god for Mr. Lafleur and him being reasonable. I've avoided it long enough, time for the play.

Special Preview night was today, DAY 1. I WAS SHAKING!! I'm good at public speaking and stuff but this was my first ever play since the Nutcracker in grade 2 and I was nervous as hell. Well my costume fell apart for the beginning and I could only think of that. Then I stuttered and coughed. Kevin also missed some stuff but he covered up brilliantly. I give him props, he's a fantastic actor. I also missed one line, but other than that it was AWESOME. Literally the crowd was peeing itself. Everyone was laughing and it was hilarious. I loved it. And I'm glad the first night is over because now I know what it feels like to have a crowd in front of me. Tomorrow and on should be even more amazing. GO SEE IT SOON!!!

Well I should get to bed because I'm exhausted and Leadership tomorrow morning. Plus I have to get all the stage makeup off.

Comeback!

I AM BACK!!! Rejoice. I made a recap of 2006 blog but that one I accidentally deleted before publishing and didn't feel like re- typing it. And then I wrote another one but didn't finish it and my mood changed before I had a chance to go back and post it. Bad habits and bad moods left my blogs in the past, but now Breviloquence is in for a comeback. Not just any comeback either, one with more juicy details about moi, and in depth topics randomly. This is more of a recap though, so bare with me.

I'll just start from scratch. I can't do a real recap because my memory's not that great on weekends. On the other blogs I wrote about a good phone convo with Melissa and stuff about being fed up with her but that's now such old news. She and I are quite close right now so that's all good. Plus she's the only one who knows my deepest DARKEST secret. I'm not exaggerating and I'm also not telling because then I'd be so boring.

Also talked about hating Ms. Puharich or however you spell it. She was being power trippy over the 80 hours of PE and I decided I'd keep my done hours in my portfolio binder because she can't do anything to me anyway. It worked out and the portfolio practically got cancelled and only involve one aspect, 80 PE hours and 30 work experience. I almost cried. I'm not kidding. It's not that hard to believe anyway because I'm a crybaby. A big cry baby. Disney movies make me cry. And I cry almost every time I laugh, if I don't then I'm not really into the laugh.

Final/Provincials. Well last semester I had a math final, Socials provincial and English final. I was only really worried about Math because Ms. Church assured us we'd all ace the English exam and on a practise Socials provincial I finished it in less than an hour and got 88% without studying. Math therefore is so much harder and I needed to do well. Well good news all around.
I ended up with an A for English, Socials provincial was pretty easy and in Math I got 79.7% on the final which rocks!! So I am definitely at a B and that I've used up my B for the year. I'm just so happy all worked out well. God I'm so happy I don't have to study anymore.

Dance has been kinda meh with Ms. Jessica, but we had a sub a while back and she was so cool. She taught us a way cool routine and how to break dance. SO AWESOME! I wish she was our teacher instead of Jessica. Oh well. But we do have a new person who's our only guy. And I think he joined because he liked one of the girls. He's not that great and his name is DEXTER. By the way he looks like he plays football and talks like it too. So I've never met anyone who looked less like a Dexter.

2nd semester, better than the first. I have Mr. Davis for Physics, Mrs. Pillay for Chemistry and Mr. Lafleur for French. Band too, but that never changes. It's not an easy semester but good teachers make it better. Mr. Davis kicks ass. He's so into Physics it's awesome, plus he wants to get to know everyone too. Pillay still loves me from grade 9 science and she still gives out bonus marks for everything. Now I know her voice is annoying and takes time to get used to, but she's better than Mulji.

Seriously OMG!! France/ Spain 2007 is in LESS THAN A MONTH. FLIP OUT!! It's coming up so fast! I was not expecting it so soon. I have to start making a list of things to bring so I have enough time to add on and not forget anything because I'm so afraid to. It's obviously going to be a blast and I'm hoping Devon calms the hell down in another continent. Packing is so much fun. I will post my what to bring list as soon as I get it started. My group is almost done our project too and Toulouse is a pretty neat French town. I still would've like the Arc de Triomphe better but Kevin and Alex should have fun with that. Speaking of Kevin reminds me why I'm in KNOTS.

THE PLAY!! A Midsummer Night's Dream is looking really good. Costumes seem great and so does the set. Every one's really good in their parts too. But I am nervous as hell. Now, I know I don't have that big of a part and really most of the time I just stand ans look pretty while Kevin has most of the lines as Theseus, but so nervous!!! I'm the second person to talk and I feel like I'll stutter or trip or start laughing. That said, I'll try hard not to and you should all come see the play. Neilson makes a good Bottom and Ajay in a blonde wig is amazing. Oh and Haniff's costume is crazy cool too. I got to know a lot more people in the play too and I don't really dislike anyone. I got to know tons of people either better or from scratch. A good experience as a whole and not one I'd trade. But since I've had rehearsals like everyday until 6:00ish I haven't had a lot of time for homework and it's piled up. Only one week left. Oh and I'm taking suggestions on what in the world to do with my hair. Something royal and Amazonian at the same time and something that won't take a long time.

So that's a pretty basic overview. Valentine's Day was a tad disappointing and I think I have a Jasper. Oh well. Anyway things are kinda stressful and I really want a long bubble bath, candles and all. Or a do nothing day. There's a lot going on, and different things in everyone else's life so things seem super busy. I can't wait till Spring Break. Well I actually finished this and it shall be posted. Kinda boring but a recap was needed since I haven't blogged since last year. CYA!
