Happy Arbor Day

Howdy! How has every one's week been? Mine has been full of not attending classes for SC and Leadership reasons. I missed Physics twice and that's going to bite me in the ass on Monday. Oh well. And I will not talk about the canucks except for saying, it was fun and I'll never be able to hate them, but yes I did cry and sob. Other than that I'm still contemplating to take Jazz band or not and I'm not even close to an answer.

Moving on, it is a special time for SC; elections. It is a time where ones reminisce about the past year and the last elections. I personally wish I had dome more with Spirit Committee but since I was doing the play and Ada had Grad council it was the best we could do. But it was still awesome none the less. Free ice cream should refresh your memory if needed. Anyway lately I've been ranted to and asked a lot about whether someone should run or not for a position. And SC drama is at it's climax. To put my cards on the table I am voting Patrick for Prez and I'm running for Vice but I never vote for myself because that almost feels like cheating so I'll probably vote for Kevin B. for Vice. I'm voting for Patrick because SC needs more guys and it should be interesting. If he wasn't running it would be a difficult decision, but between Kiran, Whitney and Suzanna I think it would be Whitney because she didn't get Vice last year and she's responsible enough and all that jazz plus she's laid back. But really it's a hard decision and I'm glad Patrick's running so I won't have to make it. To be honest I have grown quite fond of the current SC. More the seniors because I don't know any of the younger ones except Andy and Sheri (who will make good whatever they pick in the future). I will miss the ones graduating. Closer to elections I will post a proper goodbye.

Friends and I have been talking about the future a lot and I hope things work out like we hope. Oh and I hate the new Brookside playground, it's lame. Only flashy gimmicks. The famine is also coming up and I'm excited, it should be fun, I like a lot of the group going. Pirates III is coming out and I'll see it out on opening day just for traditions sake.

Today is Arbor Day and I hope that you did something green. I went to volunteer at the Arbor Day festival at the Cloverdale Athletic Park. I had fun, tasted a lot of organic food and made some friends. I loved the little kids and they loved me. I was the mascot for a bit which was a giant tree and the costume was way better than the Cougar, but I was a little small for it. It was there that I couldn't keep my eyes off a young man named Wes who wore a cowboy hat. He was incredibly good looking, it took all my energy to refrain myself from being flirty (I was here for the environment after all) and it's not my fault if he was flirting with me first. Anyway that's all I'll say about that.

So I was reading some old posts and was thoroughly disgusted. I was so angsty. Ug. That's why I got rid of all the 2006 posts. I was rolling my eyes through it all. Some were okay, but others were crap. I'm disgusted to the max, such a typical teenager. So other than that I read a good book called "This Lullaby" and there's a character in it named Paul and it's as if he was Andrew T. I had to re read it to make sure I wasn't just crazy.

Well that bout' it. Grade 12's enjoy your last month and a half and if you're going to pull a prank, stink bombs and not only fucking annoying but so not cool. No one will remember it.

Lots of love,

Alia
